Our in-person tabletop exercise addressed a critical gap many organizations face: earthquake preparedness. Participants explored why seismic readiness goes beyond regulatory compliance—focusing instead on infrastructure resilience, coordinated emergency response with local authorities and stakeholders, and business continuity strategies designed to keep essential operations running after a major event.
The session was led by Rob Burton, Principal at PreparedEx, alongside Chris Hurst, Vice President of Global Risk and Intelligence Services at OnSolve. Through a hands-on, interactive format, attendees worked through realistic earthquake scenarios, strengthening their ability to assess risk, coordinate response efforts, and plan for operational continuity.
The exercise underscored the importance of proactive planning and cross-functional coordination in building organizational resilience against seismic threats.
