Travel Risk Management Event - ISO 31030 Workshop

-

This session brought together security professionals and Travel Risk Management (TRM) practitioners for a focused discussion on safeguarding personnel in an increasingly complex travel environment. Attendees explored best practices for TRM planning, including considerations for kidnap, ransom, and extortion risks, as well as the intersection of TRM and executive protection.

The conversation also addressed the role of business travel accident insurance and examined how emerging technologies particularly AI are shaping modern travel risk strategies. Participants left with practical insights to strengthen preparedness, enhance traveler safety, and align TRM efforts with broader organizational risk management goals.
